Zachary Galifianakis

Zachary Knight Galifianakis Greek pronunciation born on October 1st, 1969) is an American actor, comedian, musician, and writer. He was also a guest on Comedy Central Presents and hosted Late World With Zach on VH1. Galifianakis has starred in films such as The Hangover trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010), The Campaign (2012), Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) and Masterminds (2016). Galifianakis also voiced characters in animated films like Puss in Boots (2011). The Lego Batman Movie (2017). Missing Link (2019). Ron's Gone wrong (2021). Galifianakis is currently host of Funny or Die's talk show Between Two Ferns, with Zach Galifianakis. He starred in the FX series Baskets and was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series in 2017. Zachary Knight Galifianakis was born in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, on the 1st October 1969. He is the son of community center proprietor Mary Frances (nee Cashion) and heating oil vendor Harry Galifianakis. His mother is English-Irish as well as Scottish as well as his paternal grandparents are Greek immigrants from Crete. His father was an Greek Orthodox Christian and he was received a baptism. He is the younger brother of named Merritt, and an older brother, Greg. The cousin of his Nick Galifianakis (Washington Post cartoonist) is his uncle. Galifianakis attended Wilkes Central High School and then attended North Carolina State University where she studied communications. He was a radio operator at a public access station while in college. He was a teacher of the waltz in 1991, when he first met Mary J. Blige. After his television debut Boston Common, Galifianakis joined Saturday Night Live for two weeks. Galifianakis has stated that he worked for Saturday Night Live for two weeks.
